The Compass Quartet

A Valentine’s Day weekend concert of classical music and love songs.  The event, sponsored by the Carroll County Arts Board, is from 7-9 P.M. at News Auction Service.  Wine from River Valley Winery and cupcakes from Julie Aulbach Cakes will be available for purchase.  Tickets are $5 for adults and free for those 18 years old and younger.

Built in 1859 in the Greek Revival style. The home is a place of remembrance for one of Kentucky’s foremost military families from colonial times through the Civil War. OPEN: Weekly tours available from May 26th-Sept. 3rd. Tours will be given Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm. Private tours are available for groups January through December.
